GoByBike

The Nanaimo Area Cycling Coalition currently hosts GoByBike in Nanaimo, Oceanside (Parksville-Qualicum), Gabriola Island, and Ladysmith. As we grow, we look to expand our GoByBike initiatives in these communities, and other communities like Cedar.

The 2026 dates for GoByBike are:

Winter: February 14th – 20th, 2026
Spring: May 30th – June 5th, 2026
Fall: Sept 19th – Sept 25th, 2026

Funding

This initiative is funded in Nanaimo by the City of Nanaimo, and GoByBike BC. In Qualicum, Parksville, Ladysmith, and Gabriola Island, it is funded by GoByBike BC.

GoByBike

The Fall 2026 GoByBike is here, September 19th to 25th, presented by the Nanaimo Area Cycling Coalition with support from the City of Nanaimo, and GoByBike BC!

We’ll be hosting a kick-off event at Vancouver Island University, and several celebration stations not only in Nanaimo, but also in Qualicum, Parksville, Ladysmith, and on Gabriola Island!
