The fall season GoByBike! The weather is mild, though there’s always a chance of rain so bring a good coat, and get fenders on that bike!, Ride your bike to work, to school, and to run errands and get some much needed exercise.

BBQ-Potluck at Bowen Park
It’s nearly a wrap for the Spring GoByBike for 2026! Pedal on over, and join us for our BBQ-Potluck as we wrap up the week and enjoy some community.
Bring something to grill, a salad, or side dish. We’ll supply burgers (meat and veggie) and buns. Gluten free options will be available!

Metral Drive Celebration Station
The final Spring GoByBike celebration station is up at Metral Drive and Mostar, at the start of this model trail! Join us on your way up or down the trail on your bike. Celebrate this fantastic path!
Front Street Celebration Station
Our second GoByBike celebration station is in the afternoon on Front Street in downtown Nanaimo across from the Port Theatre!
Shel Prince (Concerts in the Park)
Lovin’. Lookin’. Listening’. Singer-songwriter. Ukulele shredder. New-age Folk Queen. Shel Prince is a Nanaimo gem originally from Lethbridge and just so happens to be playing Mansfield Park for the City of Nanaimo’s 2026 Concerts in the Park Series.
E&N Trail Celebration Station
Join us tomorrow in the AM for our first GoByBike celebration station on the E&N trail across from Brooks Landing! Come get a delicious snack, some GoByBike swag, and say hello to our GoByBike Coordinator Rebecca, and other volunteers!
